Try it now, free

The free version below keeps up to 10 prompts in this browser. Add one, type any word from it, press Enter, and it is on your clipboard. Three sample prompts are there to start with; delete them when you like.

Prefer it on its own page? Open the free version. You can turn off your connection after it loads; it keeps working.

How it works

  1. Save a prompt once: a title, a few tags if you like, the prompt itself.
  2. Later, type any word you remember from it. Every word you type has to match, so two words are usually enough.
  3. Press Enter or click Copy. It is on your clipboard; paste it into the chat. The prompts you use most stay at the top.

That is the whole tool. It exists because a good prompt written once tends to get lost in notes, chat history and text files, and finding it again takes longer than writing it did.

The file is the library

The free page keeps prompts in one browser. The paid file adds the part that makes them yours to keep: Save library as file writes a copy of the page with your prompts inside it. Put that copy in a folder that syncs (Dropbox, Drive, iCloud, OneDrive) and open it on any machine; the prompts come with it. Import the file back and anything added elsewhere merges in, newer version wins. One purchase, no subscription, full refund within 14 days.

Plain answers

Where are my prompts stored?
In your browser's own storage for this page, on your machine. With the paid file, also inside any copy you save with Save library as file. Nothing is sent anywhere.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
The browser copy goes with it. That is why the paid file can save itself with the prompts inside, and export them as JSON: keep one of those and nothing is lost. The free page cannot, so treat it as a place to try the tool, not as your only copy.
Does it sync between my laptop and my desktop?
There is no sync service, on purpose. The saved library file goes wherever your files go, so a synced folder does the job, and importing a file merges what was added on the other machine.
Who is behind this?
Tallyframe, a one-person software studio. No names or faces here, by design. Everything the tool does is visible in the one file you download.
What do I get for the money?
The full file, downloaded the moment you pay, with every future version of it available from the same receipt. Personal covers one person; Team covers the people of one organisation.
What are the terms?
You buy a copy of a file for your own use (personal) or your organisation's use (team). Do not resell or redistribute it. Your prompts live in your browser and in the copies you save; the seller is not liable for lost prompts or for anything you send to any third party.
