Tallyframe

One more thing in Slack. Answer it without giving away the work.

Paste what the client asked for, name the scope line it falls outside, enter hours, rate and days. Scopeframe writes back a reply in three tones and a one-page change order, ready to send or print. No account, nothing leaves your machine.

Happy to help. a fourth landing page sits outside the three pages we quoted, so it is extra work on top of what we agreed. I can add it for 180.00 and it would add 1 day to the timeline, or we can park it for a later round and keep the current plan on track. Which would you prefer?

Try it now, free

Paste the ask, name the scope line, enter hours, rate and days, and press Build the reply. The free version below shows all three tones and the change-order preview; the log and the CSV export are in the paid file.

Prefer it on its own page? Open the free version. You can turn off your connection after it loads; it keeps working.

How it works

  1. Paste what the client asked for, and name the scope line it falls outside (the one from the quote or the statement of work).
  2. Enter the hours it would take, your rate, and how many days it would add.
  3. Press Build the reply. You get three tones to choose from and a one-page change order laid out for printing or a PDF, with the added cost and days already filled in.

That is the whole tool. It exists because a client's message arrives while you are mid-task, the honest answer takes thirty seconds to write and costs you the work if you write it wrong, and a memorised script does not keep a total of what you gave away.

Free to try, one file to keep

The free page writes the reply and the change-order preview, right here, no account. The paid file adds the part that turns this into a habit: a log of every request marked paid or absorbed, a running monthly total, your rate remembered between visits, and a CSV export for your books. One purchase, no subscription, full refund within 14 days.

Plain answers

Is the change order a contract?
No. It is a document you send to your client, recording the added scope, cost and days for both of you to see. It is not a contract on its own and it is not legal advice; if you need one that binds, have your own agreement or your lawyer say so.
Where is my log stored?
In your browser's own storage for this page, on your machine, in the paid file only. Nothing is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data clears the log; export it as CSV first if you want to keep it.
What does the free version leave out?
The log, the monthly totals, your saved rate and the CSV export. The reply and the change-order preview are the same in both.
Who is behind this?
Tallyframe, a one-person software studio. No names or faces here, by design. Everything the tool does is visible in the one file you download.
What do I get for the money?
The full file, downloaded the moment you pay, with every future version of it available from the same receipt. Personal covers one person; Team covers the people of one organisation.
What are the terms?
You buy a copy of a file for your own use (personal) or your organisation's use (team). Do not resell or redistribute it. The wording it writes is yours to send or change; the seller is not liable for what you send or for how a client responds to it.
